Learn about photography - Try setting the SimCam to F2.8 - 1/250 and shooting a frame. Next set the exposure to F5.6 - 1/60 Notice how the overall exposure ( brightness ) did not change. The exposure remained the same because you gave the camera TWO STOPS LESS light through the aperture, and then gave it TWO STOPS MORE light by leaving the shutter open for longer.
